Justin Schlegel, a native of Waldorf, Maryland, is one-third of the dynamic trio hosting 98 Rock’s morning show, alongside Scott Reardon and Josh Spiegel. Renowned for his razor-sharp wit, Justin brings a relentless barrage of jokes, puns, and wordplay to 98 Rock.
Justin’s interest in radio was fueled by his parents, who were avid listeners themselves. Due to this, Justin became a frequent caller to several shows in the Baltimore and D.C. region throughout his teen years.
Upon graduation from Maurice J. McDonough High School, Justin was voted “most likely to fall to his own death from a hilariously low height.”
Described as being “like a popcorn popper of strange ideas and Ric Flair quotes,” he has been featured on the prestigious Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, as well as on Lifetime TV and VH1. But beyond the microphone, Justin is a down-to-earth guy who cherishes his listeners as friends rather than fans. When he’s not cracking jokes on air, you can find him indulging his passion for retro arcade games, streaming on Twitch, or catching up on some much-needed nap time.
